Eaton Panelmate Power Pro Software

I clicked on the link associated with the text 'Windows-based configuration software' on the page I cited. That opened a page for operator interface software. Under 'Software Downloads' on that page I clicked 'PanelMate Power Pro software'. That opened up a form to submit to Eaton, presumably for the download. I didn't follow any further than that so I don't know whether the download is free or the form will turn out to be nothing more than a request for a quotation.

Once you have the part number of the PanelMate I'll be able to give you details of the download cable. It will be an RS232 cable to port 1 on the PanelMate.

I only have Power Pro software installed on a laptop with a real serial port. I can't give you any guidance on whether or not a USB/serial converter will work.

Helmun, Eaton used to offer a free transfer utility that would allow end users to download screen files without having the full development package. I think it could also be used to upload. Check the Eaton website to see if it is still available.

If so, try using it to retrieve the configuration file from your unit. You should get a file with a.pc2 file extension. Attach that file to post here like plcengineer did. You'll have to change the file extension to.zip or.txt to be able to attach it. I still have the PanleMate 2000 software and I'll create a printout of the application as I did for plcengineer.

Edit: I just checked the Eaton website and it looks like the development software package is available for download. Look under the 'Documentation' tab and follow the 'Software downloads' link.
